Beautiful Relaxed Summer Wedding in Trim Castle

Just like every beautiful day, this one started with a bright sun. Only that we didn’t have to be outside to properly enjoy the view of this sun, as it shot through the open windows at the castle, sending shadows across people’s faces and all the right places of the castle.

It was the perfect wedding photo shoot location. One where the photos would come out looking like the people in them fell out of a fairy tale story. The best part of this fairy tale story was that the prince and princess were so in love. You could feel it from just looking at them, they made the perfect models, making my job extremely easy.

Getting the perfect moment

The beautiful thing about this shoot was that there was no ‘perfect’ moment, every moment was perfect, every single one. I started by taking pictures of the accessories, including the rings, something about the way they intricately laid against each other represented the supportive nature of the relationship of the couple, and that, to me, was beautiful. And then, there was the laughter, from people who loved the couple and were simply happy for them.

This was why I said, there was no ‘perfect’ moment, every moment was perfect. Not so often will you find a redhead in a castle. And that was why I loved this bride, everything about her hair, makeup, dress screamed ‘not your stereotypical princess’ . I made sure that I captured all her moments perfectly, I would not pass up on such an opportunity. The sunlight blasting through the windows to the walls of this castle made my photos the perfect nature shot.

The next best setting

While the insides of the castle were just perfect, the outside of the castle screamed magnificent in a voice too loud to ignore, so we just had to take a picture. I wanted something that had a touch of old blending into new. And the couple made my job easy by using a vintage car. So, while their outfit and the bride’s makeup said ‘modern’ the stone walls and the cars screamed ancient, and the blend was made. Yes, there was still sunlight, so my pictures came out perfectly. Even so perfectly was the fact that they were totally alone, save for the car and the stone walls, fairy tale made life.

Forever and a day more

The couple, their friends and the happiness they spread was enough to make my pictures great. I did not even have to tell them to pose, every time my camera went ‘click’, I caught a beautiful moment, I feel like even with the plethora of pictures I took, I did not take enough. There were just so many beautiful moments.

The bride, again, was a sight for sore eyes, she was the most beautiful human ever, and it was not just because of her dress, makeup or hair, it was because she was brimming with true joy and happiness, so her smile came unhindered, unadulterated and breathtaking.

Indeed, this was a fairy tale wedding, of two people absolutely in love, so deep that my camera was able to catch that love.
