Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel Wedding
Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel Wedding
Castle weddings are beautiful, majestic, classy, and memorable. That is the kind of wedding Maureen & Joe had at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel here in Dublin. Have you ever been to a castle wedding in Dublin? If not, here is a sneak peek into the beauty, tranquility, and fun involved.
The Wedding Venue
Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel ( Killiney Castle Hotel ) is a serene and gorgeous castle wedding venue here in Ireland. Its stylish surroundings and breath-taking views are some of the reasons why I’d recommend it as a wedding photographer in Ireland. It is an 18th-century castle that is sure to impress you and your guests as you celebrate your love story. It was here that I captured Maureen & Joe’s wedding.
Getting Ready
This bride and groom did not have a wedding party, so they got ready quite easily and quickly in their dressing rooms. The bride looked amazing as she had her hair and makeup done in preparation for the ceremony. I was able to capture a lovely photo book gift, wedding details like the ring, and the groom also getting dressed for the ceremony. The bride had on an elegant lace wedding gown with amazing details and a beautiful veil. Her bouquet of red roses was just the perfect addition to her gorgeous ensemble. The groom was dressed in a lovely black suit and a corresponding bow tie.
The Ceremony
This couple had their ceremony in the church with the bride arriving in a lovely little red vintage car. She was walked down the aisle by her father, and the look on the groom’s face showed that he was thrilled to be the one waiting for her at the end of that aisle. The ceremony included readings, an exchange of rings, sacrament, and soon the couple was pronounced man and wife. Then they had a meet and greet and some lovely photos around the church before I sneaked them away for some pictures.
The Photo Session
This couple’s wedding photos featured lovely views of Dublin Bay. The clouds promised some rain, but I was able to capture amazing shots of this couple before that happened. I also captured them on the grounds of the castle hotel with the lovely trees creating a backdrop that was natural and unique. You’ll love the view.
Then it was time for the couple to re-join their guests for the cocktail hour, by which time a slight drizzle had happened and the sun was out again. I was able to capture lovely pictures of this couple at their cocktail hour too, before also taking pictures of them in the lovely interior of Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel. After that, it was time for the wedding reception.
The Reception
This couple danced into their wedding reception in a merry mood to the applause and delight of guests. They also used rose petals as confetti, and it looked beautiful. Soon, it was time for the speeches which went beautifully, glasses of Guinness and more pictures of this lovely couple at other beautiful interior spaces of this hotel. I just couldn’t resist it and they looked amazing!
This couple’s first dance was magical, and they had a saxophonist as entertainment. The Father-Daughter dance at their wedding was also beautiful and special. Then it was party time as the couple and their loved ones celebrated and had a great time. I was able to capture these special moments and more as you’ll see in these pictures.
What I Loved About This Wedding?
This wedding was simple, elegant, and beautiful. The venue was one of the highlights and the couple was lovely too. The red theme of this wedding represented in the couple’s bouquet was also beautiful, and I love how unconventional the celebration was. I am also happy the downpour didn’t ruin any of their plans and we took it in stride.
