Emer And Fergus’s Beautiful Irish Wedding

Beautiful weddings are a pleasure of mine here at Art Wedding Photography. I especially love weddings like those of Emer Fergus where it’s obvious that the couple love and cherish each other. Emer and Fergus had their beautiful at the Cliff at Lyons and here is a brief note on their wedding and how the day went.

The Venue

A Cliffs at Lyons wedding is a beauty to behold. This venue has a picturesque idyll atmosphere that is just right for an intimate Irish celebration. You’ll love the stone walls, greenery and gorgeous lighting. It also has amazing tailored packages for couples who want to get married and lovely accommodations. Who knows, after seeing how beautiful Emer and Fergus’s celebration was, you might just choose to have a Cliffs at Lyons wedding too.

Getting Ready

I started the day capturing the beautiful grounds and scenic views at this Cliffs at Lyons wedding. Next, I was able to capture lovely wedding details like the couple’s RSVP card, Emer’s beautiful wedding dress and her bridal shoes. I also captured her lovely engagement ring, bouquet and clutch purse. Next, I captured Emer getting her hair and makeup down along with her ladies.

Her beautiful little flower girls were also not left out of the pictures. Then she put on her lovely wedding dress and looked amazing. Next, I captured the Fergus and his men getting ready too. I also captured the wedding rings and the men sharing a toast. They looked quite dapper in their black suits and bowties.

First Look

This Cliffs at Lyons wedding had two looks. Emer first had a First Look with her father and bridesmaids. It was so emotional and he was so excited to see how she looked. Then it was time for her First Look with Fergus. It was also so emotional and they both looked amazing. I captured some lovely images of the couple with the water in the background. Then it was time to get in the majestic vintage cars and head for the ceremony.

Ceremony

Watching Emer walk down the aisle with her dad at their church ceremony is something Fergus will certainly remember judging by the look on his face. Soon the couple said their vows, exchanged rings and had their first kiss guided by the priest. Then they had a candle lighting ceremony. This symbolic wedding unity ritual is very special. It added the perfect romantic touch to this Cliffs at Lyons wedding ceremony. Next the couple walked back up the aisle this time as a married couple and then had a meet and greet with their loved ones.

The Photo Session

Before we headed off to their wedding day photo session, Emer and Ferguson shared their first drink as a couple in their vintage car. Then I got to capture them on the grounds at the Cliff at Lyons. I got amazing portraits of the couple together and separately before we all headed to join the guests for the cocktail hour.

Reception

The beautiful décor at Emer and Fergus’s wedding reception was memorable. It included lots of greenery and woodland vibes with fairy lighting. The result was a fairy-tale wedding reception that guests were delighted to be a part of. The many candles also added to the beauty of the event. Before the reception, I captured pictures of the bride and groom with their wedding party too.

The reception started with the wedding party walking in to a well-lit atmosphere and guests applauding. Then Emer and Fergus followed and their loved ones were really happy to see them. Next were the lovely speeches by the fathers of the couple, the maid of honor and the best man. Then the groom gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the couple.

Next it was time for the party and everyone had fun with the traditional dances. Sunset was a beautiful time at this Cliffs at Lyons wedding. From the beautiful dances with disco lights to the reverse receiving line with sparklers, everyone had a great time. I am glad I was a part of this beautiful Irish wedding.
