Nerja Spanish Summer Wedding
El Salvador Church Wedding || Wedding Photographer Nerja
I love unique and personalized weddings here at Art Wedding Photography. So when I had the chance to be at this Hotel Carebo Wedding, I was so happy. It gave me the opportunity to be a wedding photographer in Nerja.
The lovely couple for this Hotel Carebo wedding is Laurie and Adrian. I had such a fantastic time capturing their beautiful wedding in Spain. Here’s a low down of what an amazing time we all had at this El Salvador Church Wedding.
The Wedding Location
Nerja offers couples incredible and stunning locations in which to tie their vows. I was so wowed and delighted to be the wedding photographer at this Nerja wedding. Nerja is one of the most enchanting towns in Spain, and the weather there is lovely.
You’ll love the Mediterranean Sea views and cobbled streets of Nerja. Having a destination wedding here would mean enjoying its seaside charm and beautiful atmosphere. Nerja is also really easy to get to, with the International airport at Malaga just 45 minutes away.
Laurie and Adrian had a lovely El Salvador Church wedding at Nerja, and I had a great time taking pictures. This historic church dates back to the 17th century and provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration. This venue is famous for celebrating Irish weddings in Nerja.
Getting Ready
I started the day by capturing Adrian and his loved ones as they got dressed for the wedding. As a result of the fine weather, they weren’t dressed to the nines. Instead, they had on white shirts, suit pants and a vest. They pulled it off quite wonderfully, if I do say so myself. I was able to take lovely portraits of Adrian after he was dressed. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. I especially loved when a bridesmaid popped in to say hi.
Next, I captured Laurie as she and her bridesmaids shared a toast and had their hair and makeup done. I also captured important details like the wedding dress, bride’s shoes, and bridesmaids’ dresses. The gorgeous bouquet of white rose flowers was not left out and looked fabulous.
Soon, Laurie put on her dress but not before I got some lovely photos of her and her wedding party. They had on beautiful matching sets. Then everyone helped Laurie get into her dress before the hairstylist added the finishing touches. The atmosphere was fun and lively.
Once done, I took some lovely portraits of the bride and wedding party outside. There the combination of white and blues paints made a gorgeous background contrast with their dresses. The weather gave excellent lighting too. One of the things I loved about this El Salvador Church wedding was the lighting.
The First Look and Early Wedding Day Photos
I loved that Laurie and Adrian had a first look moment at their wedding. It allowed me to capture great early photos of them at the Hotel Carebo wedding. The look on Adrian’s face when he saw his bride was so beautiful. The pictures from this moment were also priceless, with the blue of the sea in the background.
From the first look, the couple and their loved ones posed around the venue for gorgeous wedding day photos. We used a walkway, gravel path and a walk across the venue to get breath-taking images. You’ll especially love those with the white buildings and blue sky in the background.
Next, I captured beautiful images of the couple and their wedding party. The gorgeous outdoor white arcs and wooden doors looked lovely in this. After this, the couple and their wedding party headed for the wedding.
The Ceremony
Laurie and Adrian had a beautiful outdoor celebration for their wedding. The celebration started with Adrian waiting at the altar with his groomsmen. Guests looked colorful and excited as they waited too. The flower girl came in first, before the bridesmaids and then Laurie herself was escorted down the aisle.
The ceremony started with the celebrant leading loved ones to take readings where necessary. Then the couple read their personalized vows. This was another lovely way that their wedding was authentic. It was so emotional and beautiful.
Next, the couple exchanged wedding rings, signed their certificate, shared and toast and then had their first married kiss. Through it all, I employed my Candid skills as their Wedding photographer in Nerja. I captured every detail without interrupting. The couple were then introduced as married with lots of joy.
The Reception
Another unique detail about this Hotel Carebo wedding was that the reception was immediately after. The couple mingled with guests and loved ones first, and then everyone settled down for the next segment. It was very relaxed and authentic.
Before the reception started, however, I had a lovely time taking photos of the guests at the wedding. Everyone was in such high spirits. There were beautiful speeches and lots of laughter as the couple celebrated with loved ones. I also captured the lovely table setting with unique tableware that celebrated this wedding location.
To close the events, I snuck the couple away again for some lovely sunset photos at the seaside. I captured beautiful pictures of them as we took that walk and at the waterside too. I also took gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom by themselves. We all had so much fun, especially with the sea breeze.
Final Words
I had such a delightful time capturing the special moments at Laurie and Adrian El Salvador Church Wedding. It was the experience of a lifetime being their wedding photographer in Deja. Thank you for letting me be a part of your Hotel Carebo wedding, Laurie and Adrian. I wish you both and your family the best now and always.
